The Contracts Act

The Contracts Act deals, among other things, with the fact that companies entering into agreements with a consumer should ensure that the consumer is authorized to enter into the agreement. In the area of TV, telephony, and broadband, this means that the operator who wants you to change subscriptions must ensure that it is you who is responsible for the subscription or that you have authorization from the person responsible for the subscription.

The formal name of the law is “The Act on Contracts and Other Legal Acts in the Field of Property”.
