Frequently asked questions

How do you cancel a subscription service on your mobile?

Most subscription services are started by sending a command, such as START, or a code to a five-digit short number starting with 72 (72xxx). To terminate a subscription service, you can simply write the word STOP in a text message and send it to the same short number through which you once ordered the service. You should not reply directly to the text message you receive but instead open a new text message and write the word STOP in it and send it to the relevant short number. If you do not know which short number the company charging you uses, you can check if you have received any text messages from the company. If these text messages come from a short number, you can try sending STOP in a text message to that number.

According to the current market rules, you should always be able to terminate a subscription service by sending only the word STOP or STOP to the short number used by the company in question. There are rules for this in the Code of Conduct that all companies must follow.

If you have tried to stop a subscription service in the manner specified above without success, you can make a complaint to us. Choose the area of Paid Telephony Services.

Important! When filling out the form to report to us, you need to have your invoice in front of you so that you can fill in the correct information we need.
