Data allowance, prepaid or allocated
A data allowance is the amount of mobile data you have available to use over a certain period, usually a month. It is allocated by your mobile operator according to your subscription. If you do not use up the entire data allowance during the period, some operators may allow you to save it and use it at a later time, which is called “rollover data.” This gives you greater flexibility in how and when you use your data amount.
