Which accounts can be linked to direct debit?

You can check with your bank which account is most suitable to connect. If you sign up for direct debit authorization via your online bank, you will receive a list of the accounts you can use. The bank usually also approves that shared accounts, that is, accounts managed by several account holders, are connected to the direct debit.

To be able to connect a shared account to direct debit, it is required that the account holders can individually make withdrawals from the account. You cannot connect accounts that require all account holders to approve a withdrawal.

After you have registered your authorization for direct debit, you will receive a confirmation from your bank.
