What happens if I don’t receive the information I’m entitled to?

The information requirements are primarily of a public law nature, and violations of the provisions generally do not result in consequences in your individual case.
You may in some cases be entitled to compensation for the costs you have incurred due to lacking information.
Note! If you have received an oral promise from a seller, it is considered part of the agreement. However, you must be able to prove the promise.
If an operator has acted in violation of our code of conduct, the operator should actively contribute to resolving issues caused to the subscriber as quickly as possible and at no cost to the subscriber. As a consumer, you can report the lack of information to Konsumentverket, which is the supervisory authority for market law consequences.
