Frequently asked questions
If written approval is required, should the call still be recorded?
According to the organization Kontaktas industry ethical rules, calls that contain information about the agreement to be entered into should be recorded as a complement to the written requirement. In cases where the written requirement does not apply, the part of the call that contains the consumer’s acceptance of the agreement should also be recorded. Note that this is not a legal requirement but is considered good practice for telemarketing.
