Frequently asked questions

I can’t make calls or use mobile data indoors – what can I do?

Indoor coverage can vary greatly, for example, depending on the thickness of the walls and where in the house you are located. Therefore, try calling or surfing in different places to find the best coverage. It is often best near windows.

There are several ways to create better indoor coverage yourself. A common way is to use different types of antenna solutions to get better reception – everything from a simple indoor table antenna to a directional antenna on the roof of the house. A wifi router connected to the mobile network, possibly with some type of extra antenna, can provide better opportunities to surf with a mobile, computer, or tablet throughout the home.

Amplifiers for the mobile network, so-called repeaters, are another solution. However, repeaters require permission from the operator to be used because the equipment can cause serious interference with the mobile network.

Sometimes you may need to take measures to improve your reception where you live, for example by installing an external antenna. Also, keep in mind that all solutions require electricity.
