The Marketing Act,

According to the Marketing Act, marketing must comply with good marketing practices.

Design

When companies market a product or service, they must provide information that is especially important for the consumer. All marketing should be designed and presented so that it is clear that it is a matter of marketing. Companies must not mislead, especially regarding the quality and other characteristics of the product or service, origin and use, price or the basis for pricing and payment terms.

Advertising

In marketing, companies may sometimes use autodialers or other similar automatic systems to reach a consumer. To do this, it is required that the consumer has consented to it in advance.

The Consumer Agency is responsible for ensuring that companies comply with the Marketing Act.
