How we process your personal data

When you contact us for guidance, Telekområdgivarna stores the personal data you provide to us. The purpose of the processing is to maintain contact with you and respond to your questions. In certain cases, Telekområdgivarna may assist you in obtaining a response from a company, and in such cases we need to share your personal data with that company.

We always limit the personal data we process. Personal data that we may register includes, for example, your name, email address, telephone number and postal address. When you contact us, a case number is created.

Telekområdgivarna is responsible for ensuring that the data is stored securely and that no one outside Telekområdgivarna has access to the data.

Our legal basis for processing is “legitimate interest”. If you wish to be able to contact us, we consider it to be in both your and our interest that we process your personal data. You have the right to object to this assessment and can read more about your rights below.

If you contact us regarding interference with terrestrial TV, we store your postal address in order to carry out an interference analysis and, if necessary, send you an interference filter.

If you report a premium-rate service, we inform the service provider of your report and send your name and email address to them so that they can respond to you. To enable the company to identify which charge your report concerns, we send your telephone number to the company. If the company that charged you is located in a country outside the EU/EEA, we only send your personal data if the European Commission has decided that the country ensures an adequate level of protection.

If you sign up for our consumer panel or subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address so that we can send emails to you. The legal basis is that you consented to the processing when you signed up for the newsletter or panel. You can withdraw your consent at any time by unsubscribing or contacting us at the address above.

How long we store your data

If you contact us for guidance, your personal data is automatically deleted one year after your most recent contact with us, or when you request it.

If you have signed up for our consumer panel or subscribed to our newsletter, we delete your email address when you request it.
