SSID

SSID stands for “Service Set Identifier” and is the name of a wireless network (Wi-Fi). It is used to identify a specific network among several that may be available within range. When you search for Wi-Fi networks on your device, the SSID appears as the name of the network. It can be set by default by the router or customized by the network administrator.
