6G is the next step in the development of wireless communication and is expected to use ultra-high radio frequencies to offer faster data transfer and support communication with as little as one microsecond latency. The theoretical maximum data rate for 6G can be up to 1 terabit per second, which is a thousand times faster than 1 Gbit/s. 6G is expected to be commercially launched around 2030.
