Telenor Sweden is a Swedish telecom operator that offers mobile telephony, broadband, and TV services to individuals and businesses. The company has approximately 3 million mobile customers, 700,000 broadband customers, and just under half a million TV customers, with a mobile network that covers 99.9% of the population. Telenor Sweden was formed in 2005 when the Norwegian Telenor ASA acquired Vodafone Sweden (formerly Europolitan) and later integrated Bredbandsbolaget and Glocalnet. The company has its headquarters in Solna and is part of the global Telenor Group, which has roots dating back to 1855 in Norway.
